With a 100 metre running track travelling through the centre of the school, the Evelyn Grace Academy opened in 2010 and was awarded the RIBA Stirling Prize in 2011.
Located on a tight urban site in Brixton, London, its design appreciates its students as important members of their community – and treats them as such by encouraging its students to take ownership of their school.
Evelyn Grace Academy’s 1,200 students (aged between 11-18 years old) and all its faculty are ambitious, dedicated and passionate; achieving notable academic and sporting success as well as wide recognition for their work in the arts, sciences and new digital technologies.
